Case Management
Cases are assigned to one of four Case Managers at DMS according to the referral source and type of case:
Florence Fletcher

Civil cases referred by District Courts, Appellate Courts, and Federal Courts, both in Dallas and surrounding counties. She assigns attorney mediators to her cases.

Marcela Arevalo

Domestic relations cases referred by Family Courts, the Attorney GeneralÌs office, and from the community. She assigns mediators who have completed 30-hour family mediation training course, both attorneys and mediators from other backgrounds.

 
Joyce Jones

Cases referred by the Juvenile Department, Justice of the Peace Courts, and community cases, such as consumer/merchant, landlord/tenant, and neighborhood problems. She assigns both attorney-mediators and mediators from other backgrounds.
